ENGLISH VERSION
In the fridge I had so many herbs, so I thought about doing the “battutino” (my mother-in-law calls it so, I don’t know if in the rest of Italy it has this name).
She also add garlic but I preferred to avoid it.
Minced herbs can be stored in the refrigerator and / or freezer, and used to give flavor to roasts or mixed grills.
Ingredients
Rosemary
Sage
Laurel
Thyme
Salt
Proceedings
I didn’t mention quantities because honestly I haven’t weighed nothing, and in any case the ratio is +/- 70% rosemary, sage 20%, 10% bay leaves and thyme.
Take only leaves of each herb. Wash them and let them dry, maybe helping to dry by patting the leaves with paper towels.
Take a cutting board and chop finely with a mezzaluna knife or a knife (if you are able to) all the leaves. Add the salt and mix it well with the minced herbs.
Keep them in the refrigerator or freezer.
