The Sahara pie

Today Iwould like to propose this delicious cake, I called the Sahara pie  because the pastry crumbs remind me of the desert sand, in reality it is a crumbled filled with ricotta cheese and chocolate it’s good to eat on all occasions |

And now …LIGHT THE FIRES!

INGREDIENTS:

For the base:

- 300g of flour

- 100g of sugar

- 100g butter

- salt

- A teaspoon of vanilla extract

- A packet of baking powder

- An egg

For the filling:

- 500 g ricotta

- 150g of sugar

- 100g of dark chocolate

- Icing sugar

WEAR THE APRON, WASH YOUR HANDS … LET’S GET STARTED!

- Put into a bowl the flour, sugar, vanilla, baking powder and salt

- Stir and add the melted butter then start working the dough with your hands.

- Combine the egg, stirring constantly until you have some large crumbs

- Line a baking pan with parchment paper and put 3/4 of the crumbs to form a thick layer

- Mix the ricotta with the sugar until you get a cream to which you add the chocolate, coarsely chopped.

- Place the cream on the base of the cake and cover with the rest of the crumbs.

- Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes
