Semolina stars

In an old cookbook I found a review of the gnocchi alla romana , a simple and light dish , , about 220 calories  , but above all it can be presented in a fun way , you can give it  the shape you prefer… I opted for the stars … I remain a romantic … even in the kitchen.

And now … LIGHT THE  FIRES !

INGREDIENTS:

- 125g semolina

- 1/2 liter of milk

- 60g of Parmesan cheese

- 30g butter

- 100g of cheese philadelphia light type

- A yolk

- Tomato sauce

- Extra virgin olive oil to taste

- A clove of garlic

- A bunch of basil

- Salt to taste

WEAR THE APRON ,WASH YOUR HANDS… BEGIN !

- Boil the milk with a pinch of salt , pour in the semolina and cook for 5 minutes, stirring .

- Once the mixture is warmed put in the the semolina, the egg yolk, cheese and butter

- Brush with cold water a sheet of paper and put it  on the oven , lie the semolina with the thickness of at least one and a half inches , let it cool

- Make a simple sauce with  tomato sauce one clove of garlic oil and chopped basil salt and set aside

- With a stencil of the stars formed about 6 semolina stars , place them on a baking sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and some butter

- Bake at 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes

- Put on the bottom portion   a spoon of sauce and put the flowers

- Et voila … ENJOY!
