Strips of beef and artichokes with herbs

SONY DSC

The strips are a typical dish in Rome,
there are thousands of combinations, with artichokes, with arugula, mushrooms,
with radicchio and so on …
I chose to do it with the artichokes,
did you know that some scientific studies indicate that
the polyphenols in artichoke contain molecules
that make them particularly healthy?
Furthermore, only 22 calories per 100g … friends who are on a diet
here’s an idea for you.

Recommended wine:
Gioia del Colle DOC 2010 Primitivo 17 Polvanera,
a red decidedly elegant and austere,
with a lingering finish.

And now … LIGHT THE FIRES!

INGREDIENTS:

-400g Of strips of beef

-4 artichokes

-1 Clove garlic

-Oil Evo qb

-Brodo Vegetable taste

-Maggiorana, Thyme and parsley to taste

-1/2 Lemon juice.

WEAR THE APRON, WASH YOUR HANDS, BEGIN!

After cleaning the artichokes, cut into wedges
rather thin and put them in water and lemon
for at least 20 minutes.
In a pan, place the oil and a clove of garlic,
as soon as it is golden, remove it and place the artichokes,
cook until they become soft,
if needed, add a ladle of broth,
failing okay even hot water.
When the artichokes are cooked almost put the strips, season with salt and pepper
and cook, only at the end sprinkle the strips and artichokes with
chopped fine herbs.
