Belgian endive appetizing

I propose today a really delicious side dish, simple ingredients, but the end result is really appetizing!

And now … LIGHT THE FIRES!

INGREDIENTS:

- Two heads of Belgian endive

- Bacon 150g

- Balsamic vinegar to taste

- Half an onion

-Extra virgin olive oil or butter according to your personal tastes

-2 Tablespoons of broth

WEAR THE APRON, WASH YOUR HANDS, BEGIN!

-Put in a pan with oil or butter and onion and cutit into thin slices or grated
I prefer the second option,
let it cook on low heat for about 10 minutes,
when it will become transparent, add the bacon, cook it slowly until it becomes crispy.

- Now add the chicory and cook for about 20 minutes,
making braise, adding one or two ladles of broth.
