World at table: at dinner in Stockholm

Brrrrr it’s cold ! Here in Sweden … Stockholm is one of the capitals most beautiful in the world, built on 14 islands connected by 57 bridges, here you really enjoy the unspoiled nature, clean and fresh  air in fact the city hosts the first urban national park , Ekoparken , a green lung near the town.

To visit the Stockholm City Hall, which houses offices, conference wedding , conference rooms and an upscale restaurant . It  also home to the Nobel Banquet , is considered one of the examples of Romanticism Swedish

You can not  forget to visit the oldest district of the city, the Gamlastan , one of the best preserved medieval city centers in the world, along its narrow streets you will find craft shops , antique shops, galleries and cafes . At Gamlastan thre are  the Royal Palace and the Cathedral too

We continue with a meat dish typical of Sweden plankstek it is a bull steak or fillet served with a frame of potatoes and béarnaise sauce

Our dinner continues with the Korv stroganoff , rice with sausage , tomato sauce and fresh cream

In our Swedish dinner can not miss the smorgastarta , a thousand ways to prepare it you can make both sweet and savory , a feast for the eyes and for the palate, the savory version is composed of many sandwiches.

We leave reluctantly  from Stockholm despite a cold  very difficult to tell  to Italians …  I need my couch ,  I need my cup of hot coffee and my slancket to warm up a bit  !
