INGREDIENTS FOR 20 BISCUITS :
- 150g butter
- 70g caster sugar
- 200g flour
- A teaspoon of yeast
- A pinch of salt
- 20g cocoa powder
- A pinch of cinnamon and chopped hazelnuts if you like
WEAR THE APRON, WASH YOUR HANDS…LET’S GET STARTED!
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter with the caster sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
- Divide the dough into two parts, but first if you want, add a pinch of cinnamon and finely chopped hazelnuts. In the second part add the cocoa.
- Form two balls, wrap them with plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Now form the rolls of the two doughs and place alternating.
- Usually I form three layers of rolls each consisting of four rows, alternating the two doughs.
- When you join the rolls, do not forget to brush them with egg white.
- Put back in the fridge to rest for a few minutes.
- Cut the dough into slices and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
-Put in the preheat oven and bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, let cool.
Et voila ‘… Enjoy!
