Today a cake , queen of popular culture of Brianza, with bread, milk, chocolate and pine nuts,
and even if I live in Rome, I wanted to try it …
making the addition of almonds and hazelnuts
… luscious cake!
Recommended wine:
the Port … excellence among liqueur wines, that goes beautifully with chocolate.
And now … LIGHT THE FIRES!
INGREDIENTS:
Lt -2. milk
- 500g of bread
- 150g of cocoa powder
- 200g sugar
- 100g of butter
- 1 egg
-A Handful of pine nuts, almonds and hazelnuts
-6biscotti Grancereale chopped
WEAR THE APRON, WASH YOUR HANDS … BEGIN!
Cut the bread into small pieces and let soften in warm milk for about half an hour,
squeeze and add the melted butter, sugar,
cocoa powder, crushed cookies, almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts and the egg:
stir well to mix until the mixture that will pour into a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cook at 170 degrees in preheated oven for 45 minutes ,
out of the oven, let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Et voilà…a simple and delicious cake!
