At dinner at my home

You will be surprised but this evening to celebrate the conclusion of the virtual culinary trip to Rome … you are all invited to dinner at my house!

But before the festivities begin let’s talk about ‘ evolution and the many facets that have occurred over the last 14 years in eating habits, certainly the year 2000 are presented as a firework frenzy of news in this sector: food kitchens of all kinds imported from distant countries , food fads in continuous development … the macrobiotic cuisine , exotic , natural ethnic Japanese and most people ‘ has more’ and so forth.

It has a multiplicity ‘ and tremendous versatilityof products , switching to low-fat yogurt from goat’s milk , twice creamy , fruity , with biscuits in supermarkets …. there is a swirl of products that if the great-grandfather of my grandfather passed of them by accident not believe his eyes .. the milk is no longer  milk but skimmed , semi-skimmed , whole, lactose-free , high digestibility  Long cool storage etc etc …

Well the historic gastronomic journey ends here , we started from ancient Rome in Caesar’s time , we stopped for dinner in the Middle Ages by Matilda of Canossa , then the enchanting Renaissance Florence of Lorenzo de ‘Medici , the Baroque era there saw at the table with the Duke of Modena, Este and then dinner in Paris by Carlo Goldoni to get by Cavour in Turin in 1800 , for the first 900 were guests of Luigi Pirandello, and then get to the 60s with Sicilian dinner a memorable one by Andrea Camilleri … but tonight? But tonight you’re all guests in my home … too happy and honored to welcome you all !
