Ho scoperto solo da poco questo “mix” di cereali: riso, miglio, grano saraceno. Ho acquistato la confezione in un noto supermercato e sono rimasta davvero soddisfatta.
Ingredienti per 4 persone
300 g di mix di cereali (riso, miglio, grano saraceno)
2 cucchiai di olio EVO
150 g di speck tagliato a striscioline
200 g di piselli già sgusciati
sale
parmigiano reggiano
Procedimento
Mettete a scaldare 2 l di acqua salata e, quando bolle, versate il mix di cereali, mescolate e lasciate cuocere senza coperchio a fuoco basso.
Ne frattempo preparate il condimento: scaldate i due cucchiai di olio in una casseruola; quando è caldo, versate lo speck a striscioline, mescolate e fate cuocere un paio di minuti.
Il mix di cereali cuoce in circa 18 minuti; trascorso tale tempo, assaggiate e, se è cotto, scolatelo. Mettetelo in una padella, aggiungete il sugo preparato e mescolate delicatamente facendo saltare a fuoco vivace il tutto per un minuto.
Servire caldo e con un’abbondante manciata di parmigiano reggiano.

I only recently discovered this “mix” of cereals: rice, pearl millet, buckwheat. I bought the package in a well-known supermarket and I was really satisfied.
Serves 4
300 g mixed cereals (rice, millet, buckwheat)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
150 g speck cut into strips
200 g already shelled peas

Proceedings
Put to heat 2 liters of salted water and, when it boils, pour the cereal mix, stir and let cook uncovered over low heat.
It the meantime, prepare the sauce: heat the two tablespoons of oil in a saucepan; when it is hot, pour the speck cut into strips, stir and cook a few minutes.
Add the peas (I used frozen ones), half a glass of water, stir and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes or until still you will not see the peas are cooked.
The mix of cereals cooks in about 18 minutes; After this time, taste it and, if it is cooked, drain it. Put it in a pan, add the sauce and stir gently sauting it at high heat for a minute.
Serve hot with a generous handful of Parmesan cheese.
