Here in Finland,
Remembering Helsinki a few years ago and see it today …

The Suomenlinna Fortress ,
stands about 6 interconnected islands and was built by the Swedish to defend against attacks by sea ,
has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991 .
The Sibelius Monument
is obviously dedicated to the greatest Finnish composer ,
is a beautiful monument that is located in the park Sibelius , is composed of more than 600 steel tubes welded to one another and processed to give a wavy effect,
with this monument the artist wanted to represent the movement of the music of Sibelius.
The work weighs 24 tons and is 9 meters high .
Seurasaari ,
is a unique, open-air museum that shows , to those who visit it , how life was in Finland in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries ;
usually the visitors are accompanied by a guide dressed in original clothes of the era,
there is also the opportunity to take dance lessons and participate in craft workshops to learn how things were done then.

you could not start with reindeer stew , typical dish of the Finnish and extremely simple ,
reindeer meat has a flavor mixture of beef and game , and it’s a pretty lean meat .
The Karelian Stew
takes its name from the region that lies between Finland and Russia ,
is based on a mix of pork and beef , is sometimes also used lamb.
Vorschmack
was the favorite dish of General Mannerheim , the name is German and vul say 4 flavors , is a dish made of lamb meat , onion , potatoes and beef.
We could not miss the fish : salmon is prepared , marinated , smoked , or baked potatoes
Silakka are small Baltic herring , and have a starring role in the Finnish cuisine .

is the traditional Finnish Easter dessert , is made from water, rye flour , rye malt powder,
seasoned with dark molasses salt and orange peel .
Pannukakku ,
pancakes are very popular , like crepes, which are eaten with jam blueberries and raspberries and whipped cream.
Piparkakku , are ginger biscuits
Korvapuusti are cookies with cinnamon.
