hollyfood, at table with cinema: no reservations

locandina

Tonight our review  continues with a film of 2007,
US remake of a German film:
the film hasn’t great pretensions,
light and romantic, without slipping into banality,
hour and a half relaxing together with a strict Catherine Zeta -Jones.
The chef Kate Armstrong practically lives for her work,
that takes place in a chic restaurant in Manhattan, often
is in disagreement with the sous chef, Nick
who has very personal ideas about
food preparation.
Following the death of her sister, Kate was appointed grand-daughter Zoe
only eight years old, the situation is complicated, partly because the woman
is totally unprepared to fulfill the new hard
task.
A series of confusing situations
will lead to a happy ending, Kate and Nick will fll in love to happiness
the little Zoe,and they  will open a restaurant …
Dishes such as works of art, great culinary metaphors,
a little romance in the kitchen!
